About the Bethlehem Central Community Foundation

It's about making a difference...

Community Foundation Information

Community Foundation Website (click here to make a donation.)

The goal of the Bethlehem Central Community Foundation (BCCF) is to enrich the overall educational process of the Bethlehem Central Schools by funding programs and capital projects that traditionally are not financed through local tax dollars or other public resources reflected in the annual school budget.

Monies raised by the Fund will be used to finance new programs and projects that fall outside the scope of the annual budget and cannot be initiated or continued without supplemental private funding.

You can help. Your tax-deductible gifts will allow Bethlehem Central to continue to provide "Excellence in Education."

The BCCF, established in 1998, is working to garner private donations for education priorities that are not funded by tax support.

contributing to the fund

Your contributions to the fund make you a partner in the success of our students:

Parents can help ensure a quality education for their children.

Residents can take pride in our schools and reap the benefits of living in a community known for its excellent schools.

Business owners can look forward to future employees ready for the challenges of the workplace.

Alumni can express their gratitude for the education they received and support the continued success of programs that they experienced while at BC.

When you make a contribution ...

The Fund is designed to give you the maximum tax advantage possible.

Any desire for privacy will be honored.

The Bethlehem Central Community Foundation is an Affiliate of The Community Foundation for the Greater Capital Region. The BCCF is managed by a local Board of Trustees composed of alumni, community members, staff and student representatives. All Trustees serve without compensation.

Innovation grants

The BCCF accepts applications for its Classroom Innovation Grant Program to fund projects proposed by Bethlehem Central School District faculty and staff for classroom projects, curriculum innovation, and projects that promote academic achievement and student well-being. One-time grants may be funded in amounts up to $1,000, depending on the scope of the proposal. Multi-year funding will not be provided.
