Bethlehem Central Athletic Association

About BCAA

The Bethlehem Central Athletic Association (BCAA) is the all-sports booster club organized to support BC athletics and athletes. BCAA serves as a liaison between parents and the BC school board, superintendent, principal, athletic director and other district administrators. BCAA also serves as an advocate for BC athletics and athletes with these officials, particularly in connection with the school district budget.

In recent years, BCAA has worked with the school district in connection with the proposal, adoption and implementation of the bond issue to fund various facilities including the new track, tennis courts and weight room at BC High School. BCAA has also worked for the implementation of new programs, particularly at the sub-varsity level, and for the creation of a full-time athletic trainer position (which was initially funded by BCAA). BCAA also provides scholarships to graduating seniors and to current students for summer sports camps and funds awards to the outstanding athletes in each sport and to the members of each championship team.

BCAA is run by a board composed of representatives of each varsity sport and several at-large representatives. Parents are welcome to attend all meetings. Information concerning meeting times and location can be obtained from the athletic director’s office.
