P.E. Grade 5 Leadership Award
Congratulations to our Physical Education (P.E.) Leadership Award winners! Six of our fifth graders will be honored in a ceremony at Hudson Valley Community College on May 6 with other students from around the Capital District for their leadership, sportsmanship, and personal responsibility in physical education class throughout their tenure at Glenmont School.

Summer Enrichment Enrollment is now open!

Donate your change to Glenmont Playground Project
We are collecting your coins in order to make a CHANGE to Glenmont Elementary’s playground! There will be a bucket in each classroom for students to make donations as well as a large collection jug in the school lobby. With your support will be able to climb towards our goal! A special thank you to Tom Larsen, a Glenmont Alum, for making our donation sign in the lobby!
A reminder for our fifth grade parents...
Some of you may receive e-mail notices from our school. These are sent via our School News Notifier (SNN) system, which you are not automatically enrolled in, and must sign up for on your own.
You may be enrolled in the Glenmont message list, but keep in mind that as your student transitions to the middle school, you'll need to sign up for the BCMS message list. READ MORE »
Remember to call the office if your child will be out
Please remember to call the office if your child is going to be out, ill, or coming to school late. If you call the office before 7:45 there is an answering machine where you may leave a message. The Health Office's number is (518) 439-2383. You may also email your child’s teacher, but make sure to copy the office as well (zaccjgle@bcsd.neric.org). All absences must be documented so please be sure to follow up with a written note.
Outgrown Sneakers?
Mrs. Nolan will be collecting any used, out-grown sneakers for Hope 7. This charity services the Troy area with after school care for kids and help for families in need. If you have any old sneakers at home that you would like to donate, please tie them together in pairs and drop them off in the PE office at school. Please note that we cannot accept boots, sandals, or shoes – just sneakers.
