Welcome to the Hamagrael PTA
Dear Hamagrael Parents and Friends:
Happy New Year! We have so much to look forward to in the coming year.
Mark your calendars for the upcoming Family Math and Science Nights Jan. 9-11. Sign-up flyers should have come home with your children.
We are expecting another great turn-out for the Family Fun (Skate) Night on Jan. 21, 7-8:30 p.m. at the Bethlehem YMCA.
To keep updated with events coming this winter and spring, keep an eye out for the next PTA Newsletter to come home with your student.
Thank you again to all the wonderful volunteers who have made the PTA programs and events such a success thus far! With continued support we can make a real difference in our students’ school experience.
Please consider joining the PTA. Your dues and support of our fundraising efforts provide funding for many important activities for your children such as author visits; art, science and math fairs; enrichment program support; special activities across grade levels; outdoor school beautification projects; and community enriching events throughout the year. Each PTA newsletter will come home in your oldest child’s folder and it will keep you up to date with all that is going on.
The next PTA meeting will be held on Thursday, Jan. 26, at 7 p.m.
Please join us to learn more about our upcoming programs, fundraisers, and how to become involved. Free babysitting will be available at this meeting for children three and older.
We look forward to working with you to make this year great for all of our Hamagrael families.

Family Fun Night –Skating!
Please join us for family fun at the Bethlehem YMCA ice skating rink on Jan. 21 from 7-8:30 p.m. A second “Family Fun Night” will be held at the YMCA on March 10 from 4-5:30 p.m. Details and information will be sent home after the winter break.
Family Math and Science Night
The Hamagrael PTA is proud to sponsor Family Math and Science Night this Jan. 9, 10 and 11 for grades 1-5. This is a fun, educational evening of hands on science and math activities arranged by grade.
Each grade will have two opportunities to attend. Sign up slips will be sent home with your child after the holiday break. If you are interested in volunteering on any of the evenings please contact Carie Hennessey, Sheila Wrede, or Ellen Sauer.
We need you! Committee Chair openings for 2011-2012
We are in need of Chairs for the following committee/fundraisers:
- Pit Party - We need 5th grade parents and others to assist with this great event that happens at the end of the school year.
- Summer Camp Resource Fair - This coincides with the Spring Science Fair. We have lots of resources and would need someone willing to share these with parents attending the Science Fair.
