Bethlehem Central High School hosted the Chamber of Commerce’s March breakfast, an event that included a snapshot of the academic and co-curricular activities that are on the menu at the school every day.

Student performances and demonstrations included the brass quintet, a selection from the high school theater group Stage 700’s upcoming performances of “The Boyfriend”; a presentation from the Future Business Leaders of America BCHS chapter; and two musical selections from the high school A capella group.

The breakfast also included tours of Bethlehem Central High School, which has undergone extensive renovations in recent years and is a state-of-the-art facility that houses nearly 1,700 students in grades 9-12. The Building Project approved by Bethlehem Central voters in 2003 has resulted in two new classroom wings, modern classroom technology, including in science and engineering labs, expanded and modernized art and music rooms; and an expansion of the cafeteria and foyer, providing centralized student gathering places; and a new gymnasium.

“We’re so pleased to have you in outstanding high school facility,” Board of Education President James Lytle told Chamber members. “This is a great opportunity to showcase both the wonderful work and activities our students are engaged in and the wonderful work that has been done as a result of the community’s investment in its school buildings.”
