BC students earn physical education leadership awards

Hamagrael Award Winners.Forty students from across the district have earned Physical Education Student Leadership Awards from the New York State Association for Health, Physical Education, Recreation and Dance.

The awards were given at a May 4 ceremony at Hudson Valley Community College in Troy.

"You are the school leaders of today and the community, state and national leaders of tomorrow," awards committee Chairwoman Maria DeSilva wrote to all of the winners from across the region. "We are very proud of you. Be sure to take time to thank those who helped you along the way — your family and your teachers who nominated you for this honor.
