BCMS student receives prestigious Lt. John F. Finn Community Services Award

Congratulations to Victoria "Tori" Roberts, 8th grader, who was one of only 10 students selected to be recognized at the 2009 Youth Recognition Awards sponsored by Albany County on June 3rd.

Tori received the Lt. John F. Finn Community Services Award for her many contributions of volunteer work in the school and the larger community. Lt. Finn's commitment to community was based on services to others well beyond his exemplary work as a police officer.

Tori received this award at a ceremony at the Albany County Office Building on June 3rd along with the high school recipient of this award and 8 other winners in different categories. She was the only middle school recipient of this prestigious award.
