To mark the quadricentennial of Henry Hudson's famous voyage on the river that bears his name, Hamagrael students will take a look at the life of the famous explorer in a special dramatic production on Friday evening, June 12, at 7 p.m.

The play, "A Look at the Life of Henry Hudson," was written by Hamagrael fourth grade teacher Barbara Cox and retired Bethlehem Central teacher Felicia Bordick. It will be performed by Hamagrael fourth grade students, and directed by teachers Cox, Mary Bigelow, and Tom Hotaling.

The production features a series of scenes that trace Hudson's life from a cabin boy sailing on ships out of London to his adventures on his own ship, the Half Moon.

Friday evening's performance is free and open to the public.
