3.    Students in grades 1 and 2 may borrow 1 book at a time (will move to 2 books at a time as the year progresses); students in grades 3, 4, and 5 may borrow 3 books at a time.

4. Kindergarten students may borrow 1 book at a time, for one week. They may renew a book once, for a total of 2 weeks.

Damaged Or Lost Items

It is a new District wide policy that we ask that Lost or damaged books be replaced, rather than sending in a check for the book. This way we can ensure that the exact book that has been damaged or lost is again added to the library collection.

1.    Notices for damaged items (wet, written in, torn) will be sent when the item is returned and the damage discovered.

2.     Notices for lost items are sent in April or May. Many of these items are found during the course of the year. Follow payment information above.

4.    Please consider sending your child’s library books in a sturdy plastic bag. Books damaged by water or juice from leaking lunch boxes generally cannot be saved.

If you have any questions, please contact the librarian via email alrappoccio@bcsd.neric.org or pheld@bcsd.neric.org   or call 768-2318. Thanks!
