Dear Families,
January is a busy and fast-moving month at Bethlehem Central High School. Students and teachers are busy preparing for midterm and final exams and other major midyear assessments. MORE
Dear Families,
How is your New Year’s Resolution
coming along? Might I suggest you resolve to join the BCCO? It’s
much easier than losing weight, stopping a bad habit, or going
to the gym more often.

Input Needed from Parents of Seniors for Graduation Celebration Planning
The BCHS Graduation Celebration is an alcohol-free,
all-night party held at the High School after graduation every year,
just for the graduating seniors. Planning is currently underway for this
year's Graduation Celebration and we are interested in feedback from the
parents of seniors to assist in planning themes and activities for the
event. Please take our quick survey at
http://www.surveygizmo.com/s/209762/2010-bchs-grads-celebrate to
provide us with your input.
We appreciate everyone who has already volunteered to help with the 2010
Graduation Celebration, but are still in need of additional assistance.
In particular, we need an individual to chair the Clean-up Committee.
Members of other committees, such as Games, Food, etc., will be
responsible for cleaning up their own areas, so the Clean-up Committee
Chair will just need to provide overall coordination to ensure the High
School is left in good shape at the end of the night.
Numerous volunteers are also needed to work on any of the other ongoing
committees that are already hard at work planning this year's event:
Fund Raising, Decorations, Games, Food, Prizes, Registration, Security,
Photo Wall, and T-shirts. Please contact us so we can match you to a
volunteer position that fits your schedule. In addition, we will need
many parents of underclassmen to work at the event on the night of June
25. To volunteer, send an e-mail to
BCHSgradscelebrate@gmail.com or call Teri Spina at 248-9968 or
Hannah Shuman at 441-0610.
Sanchez Family Support Fund
On Saturday, December 19, the Sanchez family suffered a fire and the loss of their home and all of their possessions on Adams Place. People interested in donating money to assist the family should send a check made out to Bethlehem Central High School: Sanchez Family Support Fund, 700 Delaware Avenue, Delmar, NY 12054. Your thoughts and support on behalf of the family are greatly appreciated.
