Choices and Consequences

 

Level I Choices

• tardiness, talking in class that interrupts teaching or learning; cafeteria/bus misbehaviors 

level 1 consequences

• teacher detention; hallway time-out; parent contact; lunch detention; suspension of bus riding privilege

 

level 2 choices

• behaving in class in a way that interrupts teaching or learning; disrespect to others; repeated Level I behaviors

Level 2 consequences

• administrative/house leader detention; suspension from school activities

 

level 3 choices

• harassment; abusive language; refusal to follow a reasonable request made by an adult responsible for your supervision; damage to others property; fighting

level 3 consequences

• in-school suspension; administrator/parent conferences; Saturday detention; out of school suspension; payment for damage

 

level 4 choices

• threats or planned attack on another person; possession, use or sale of guns, alcohol, other drugs or tobacco; vandalism

level 4 consequences

• out of school suspension (up to 5 days); Superintendent’s Hearing and referral to police; payment for damage
