New Year in Japan is an important and happy celebration!

These are pictures of our fall field trip we took last Wednesday. We started at our school at 8:30. We walked to the base of a mountain about 8.5 kilometers away. The mountain had 8,888 steps. There is a picture of the steps! The view of the  valley below is about half way up. The whole trip was 20 kilometers or about 12 miles.
