Pumpkins for Peace Project

Global Coalition students and students from the B.C.M.S. Helping Hands Club painted "Pumpkins for Peace."  Each pumpkin had a jack-o-lantern painted on one side and a peace flag on the other.   25 of the pumpkins were donated to the town of Bethlehem's "Meals on Wheels" project to benefit people who need food.   The other 15 pumpkins were distributed around the school to help celebrate peace and Halloween.

Museum of Ancient Civilizations Peace Flag Project

2005-2006 Museum of Ancient Civilizations

More than 380 students participated in this year's Museum of Ancient Civilizations.  Each of the students contributed a project which answered a question regarding an Ancient Civilization and included a replicated artifact.  Students took one month constructing their exhibits and one week in school organizing the four classrooms that comprised the museum.  We opened for one night with more than 700 parents attending.
