Middle School gives Eagle Awards to students for kindness and cooperation during 2nd marking period

The Middle School introduced a new award for recognizing positive behavior called the Eagle Award. This award is given to students who display acts of kindness, courtesy, or cooperation throughout the school day. Any staff member may give this award upon observing this positive display of character. Learn more about the Eagle Award [PDF]. Here is a list of recent award winners for Marking Period 2:

• Joe Nisiewicz: Looking out for the safety and well-being of other students

• Andrew Zibell: Looking out for the safety and well-being of other students

• Amy Sawyer: Being responsible and showing concern for the environment

• Nathalie Traylor: Being helpful and caring about other students

• Carla Mollica: Helping to tie another student's shoes every day

• Felix Rosa: Went beyond expectations to clean up the classroom and show respect for the school and classroom facilities

• Logan Cronin: For being kind, considerate, and accepting towards other students on the team

• Andrew Edlund: For being a good friend; including everyone so they feel special; being nice to others

• Tommy Russo: For going out of his way to help a teacher fix her classroom printer
